MathPlot
MathPlot is a simple yet elegeant tool for everyday math problem solving. It includes a versatile math parser and an easy to use function plotter.
The motivation for this piece of software arose, when I found that there really wasn't a simple and inexpensive math software solution available today. MathPlot was supposed to fill this gap. It provides interface elements simple enough even for computer beginners, as well as a some more advanced math operations.
Today I would recommend using Apple's wonderful Grapher application, which is bundled with Mac OS X Tiger (10.4). It has many more features to offer than MathPlot. However, for a quick simple calculation or plot, MathPlot might be the better choice.
While developing this software I kept in mind that Macintosh users consist both of graphical interface fanatics, and UNIX geeks. With the MathPlot interface, I hope both worlds will feel comfortable.
Requirements:
MathPlot requires Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther).
