Columbus is ready to go
For all of you who have not been watching space news like I do almost daily ( www.nasa.gov, www.esa.int, www.space.com ), the european contribution to the international space station columbus will be on its' way to the station this evening. I can hardly wait. This will finally be a major contribution to the station after more than 4 years of an uncompleted station floating around in space. After this contribution there will be sufficient life supply systems for 6 people to live on the ISS simultaneously in contrast to a maximum of 3 before Columbus. Let's hope all goes well.Great coverage can be found at http://webservices.esa.int/page.php
The Launch can be seen live on Nasa-TV ( of course on www.nasa.gov )!
